Women with Magic in their Eyes

There are women with magic in their eyes
Men too maybe-
But women for sure.
When you see them you will know.

They are the ones whose eyes say in infinite ways:
“This life is mine. I own it.
I exist only in this moment with me. With you.”

The women with magic in their eyes
Say what words cannot with a single look.
They know to the end of time,
“I could not ever have more
than the everything I have right now.”
Laughter. Love. Joy. Peace.

I hope there will be a time
When these women aren’t so rare
When all eyes reflect such steadfast knowing – 
They are heard. They are seen.
Resolute, uncensored to the depths of their core,
and safely laid bare.
