Stardust

We were stardust once
Once so far in time
A cosmic force
A force divine.

Our senses sharp
Our feelings raw,
Our memories of a time before.

A sum of all parts
What more are we?
Infinite more than what we see.

Our soul song echoes,
Raw energy runs deep,
And speaks to us when we sleep.

The earthly body that toils and ages,
And writes our life on barren pages.

The atom collision,
Unyielding force free,
What was, cannot un-be.

This earthbound chapter,
The journey we take,
Let our conscious awake.

Nurture our senses,
Nourish our soul,
Follow our destiny,

Until we become whole.

Usually found with a cup of tea, a pet or a book, I am most content with life's humble gifts. A catch up with friends and home baked cakes is my idea of bliss. My heart beats where my family are close but my soul will always be in that place between sunset and sunrise. 💚
