Sometimes something happens that renders a writer wordless. For me, it will take a lot to beat this.
After seeing the iconic photos of Ron Green at the London Freedom gatherings, “April 24th” was written. Some of you will know the crazy story that followed and my mission to track him down to share the poem with him. I could never have expected that journey to result in this. Not only did I receive a recording of Ron reading the poem he inspired, but also a reading of “They Came”.
